The Medserve-LUTH Cancer Centre (MLCC), a leading institution in Nigeria’s fight against cancer, is proud to announce its new name: Medserve-LUTH Cancer Centre (MLCC). This name change, effective immediately, marks a significant step in the center’s strategic evolution and reinforces its vision for the future of oncology care in Nigeria and across West Africa.
This rebranding aligns the center more closely with its operator, Medserve, the healthcare-focused subsidiary of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA). The NSIA, in partnership with the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), established the center to provide advanced, comprehensive cancer care and to bridge a critical gap in the nation’s healthcare landscape. The transition to the Medserve-LUTH Cancer Centre name signifies a deeper integration into Medserve’s expanding healthcare network, which is poised to revolutionize medical services across the country.
Our core values of innovation, collaboration, empathy, excellence, and enthusiasm will continue to guide every aspect of our operations. Patients and their families can expect the same high standards of care, access to cutting-edge technology, and a compassionate and supportive environment that they have come to associate with our center.
We are excited to embark on this new chapter as the Medserve-LUTH Cancer Centre. This evolution will enable us to leverage greater synergies within the Medserve ecosystem, fostering further advancements in research, training, and patient outcomes.
